Tips for using isurv

Within isurv there are a number of shortcuts that could help you use the site more effectively.

Opening links in a new window

isurv has been built to Web accessibility standards, which means that every time you click a link it will open in the browser that you were viewing isurv through.

If, however, you wanted to open the link in a new browser (or tab), maybe to compare two pages, you can do this by holding down the 'Ctrl' key at the same time as clicking the link.

Finding a term within a page

To find a particular word or term quickly within a page or PDF, hold down the 'Ctrl' key and the 'F' key. This will open a small search box, which (when you type your term) will search down the page and highlight the term.

Quickly get to the top or bottom of the page

The 'Home' key on your keyboard will take you straight to the top of any page and the 'End' key will quickly take you to the bottom.

Finding further information

If you want to search for further information on any topic, why not try the Search RICS link at the bottom of every isurv page.

Search RICS will search across the seven RICS sites (including isurv.com and rics.org) to bring all of the relevant content to your fingertips.

Feedback

If all else fails, please contact us via the feedback on this page link (at the bottom of the right-hand column of every page) and we'll do all we can to help you find the information you need.
